when an insurer ask if a tracker is fitted, how much cheaper is insurance if you say yes. ?

On a low value car like an Omega I doubt you'd even come close to recovering your costs.

Problem is that it needs to be a Thatcham approved model for insurance purposes which will undoubtedly be the real deal Tracker product that the Police can interface with.

Don't know how much the insurance would change, but regarding good, easy to fit, and even easier to use .. the "Hal-Locate" is a nice system, and fully Thatcham compliant. I fitted one to my caravan some 5 years ago, every time I get a new van I simply move it. All controlled by mobile phone/text.
