Yes indeed. I did a certain young lady a favour and she said how can I repay you handsome sir.

It turned out that sex was not on offer so........ :)

Just a thought but the dog has been very lethargic of late.

Could I connect this to his balls as a tonic? :)

They're OK if you know the car will start without a lot of cranking over, or just needs a small boost. The battery inside is small and has little capacity so you can flatten it really quickly. And that's assuming that it is fully charged when you go to use it.

My old boss used to supply them, and most of us bought our own, more useful boosters.

I'm hoping there will be no need to use it, Nick.

As you say....it's usable up to a point.

If you maintain your batteries, well, you shouldn't need one of them :-X

Back in the autumn I bought off Ebay a roll of body masking film, a mixed pack of velcro DA discs and some soft edge foam masking for the door shuts. This came to about £40, which was considerably less than the local paint jobber wanted for the same stuff.

There were 3 packages when I collected it from the courier, and one of them was heavy.

That one was was a mix-up, as they had put my address label on one of these: http://www.autoglym.com/products/products/the-collection-perfect-bodywork-wheels-and-interiors which is at least £70 worth. I decided to save the supplier some grief and the postage back to Ireland, and kept it. I'm not a big fan of Auto-Glym stuff, as I prefer the bulk trade products for much less cash, but you don't look a gift horse in the mouth ::)
