Took wifey's captur over to Liverpool today
« on: 21 March 2016, 17:36:23 »

It's a nippy little thing. About 160 miles of actual motorway (if you can call it that these days) and 30 miles of A/B roads, averaged 61.1mpg  :y
It's not the most planted of cars, though. I've driven better cornering hovercraft.  ;D

You get what you pay for, I suppose. Let's say I'm really pleased with it considering we only paid £12,900 for it new. I wouldn't pay the £17,000 odd list price. As a daily commuter for the wife, it's ideal and, I must say, it coped admirably at motorway speeds, much better acceleration than my asthmatic 1.4 astra.

Wifey likes to arrive at work actually driving her car, not with it on the back of a truck leaving a trail of rust behind. She's funny like that.

Good philosophy.

Zero road tax and good MPG usually go hand in hand with a dull drive.

Life is short.

I reckon that STMO chappie would be far less belligerent if he had something powerful and throbbing to enjoy. :)
