Hmm it's always those easy to fix,but I don't have the time... items that make me twitchy.Pays yer money and all that, reminds me of when I bought the Omegas...have been too frightened to actually calculate how much hard earned has been spent on those 'easy fix' items. But £15k won't cover it for sure :o :o

'Had it for a few months and not had the time to use it' means I need to get shut...
'Gearbox occasionally plays up - don't have the time to do it' means can't afford to get it done.....
'Sometimes goes into limp mode' - mmmmmm
'Genuine Audi parts are £218' - well get it sorted before its up for sale
'Parking sensors only just packed up for some reason' means something else has gone wrong££££
Not difficult to get a 12 month MOT - still a few places prepared to overlook issues sadly.
Sounds like a money pit to me.....call me synical and all that, but......

Yeah, easy fix....

Bet he wouldn't snap your hand off if you offered him £1418 on condition the gearbox was sorted  ;D.

Just looks like a heap of trouble to me, personally I'd give it a wide berth.

You want an "omega replacement"...

...and yet you don't want a "money pit".

Make up your mind lad  :D

A good, A8 that works properly is a nice car but still a risk.
That one is already about £2500 too expensive

An automatic V8 Audi with a known gearbox problem? See my post on 25th March.  It's not just a NO, but a Hell no, not while there's still a hole in my arse no. And that's without the other issues which are par for the course.
