I recently bought brake discs and pads from ecp and before that plugs and filters

On each occasion,  they've had to order the parts in

Isle it getting harder to get parts over the counter now?

I remember with my v6 I got a rear brake fitting kit from Vx and that took a few days also

Never bought discs/pads for mine,but I've had filters,plugs,plug leads for it from ecp and it's been click and collect on same day.

Rear brake kit was never a stock item at my local dealer... Fronts were...
