new Insignia
« on: 22 July 2008, 14:26:05 »

just been reading about the new Insignia. links below are to the msn news article from the motor show and a load of real pics. I think the car looks amazing and am genuinely excited about it as an omega replacement in the future!

Have been thinking a lot lately about how uninspiring most cars are and that very few would make me give up the mig. now there's a goal for the future! a nice nearly new insignia in a couple of years time!! :).... of course relying on me liking it as much in the flesh.... :-/

all in tho i'm excited. and that hasn't happened for a long time!  :y

article on msn:
http://cars.uk.msn.com/britishmotorshow2008/article.aspx?cp-documentid=8924747

just piccies : :y

hope some of you who are lucky enough to get to the show will post their own pics up too!!

Vectra Elite Estate doing good post-Omega service but still not as nice to sit in.

One last Omega on the drive, one Corsa on the lawn...maybe they'll go to a good home before too long!

where'd you see that? it says available now on msn... but if true, how typical. generate excitement then put the supply date back to generate even more.....
either that or they've got production probs! lol

I really really like the look of this. In about three or four year's time the second hand value should make them an attractive option. Looks like the Omega will stay until then.  :)

if after downgrading my car and getting financially stabe in my new house, might be tempted to a second hand one myself... however...

i doubt it'll depreciate like the omega, it looks like a major step forward from a vectra and at a competitve price too

I'm not keen. Looks like any other mass produced car. Looks like a hyundai from the rear.  :(

Actually, I think you're right. I might go for one of those exclusive, coach built Astras instead.  ;D ;D ;D

Should have known better than to post a serious comment.

Astra was described on top gear last week as "a handsome car"

They also said they loved the Insignia.  :)

Maybe I'll wait for the facelift version anyway.  :)
