Lost key for our UK corsa C
« on: 26 May 2016, 22:48:01 »

Cock as James May says.

Can't find the key anywhere. Might have lost it on way to airport by taxi. Will ask them in morning but it was 48 days ago.We have a spare which we left with a trusted neighbour 18 months ago. Seemed like a good idea at time but she is adamant she gave us it back but hasn't.

Leaves a bit of a problem. Car pass and vehicle docs are all locked in car. I am thinking get someone to break in and then it is down to a dealer for a new key. How much is that and how long does it take approx?

Open to alternative suggestions like ask garage that services it and Mots it for advice.

Any thoughts?

Panic over!

Just Rang Taxi company. Yes they had it (still) in their lost property. 48 days ago! Top company - Club taxis Leicester, East Mids and they provide us with a good service.

Bringing it round now by taxi. Cost £11. Bargain.

First job in morning get two spares cut.

Where in the country first... Might be able yo get a damage free entry made  ;)

Easiest, but not cheapest, option is the new key from a dealer... Unless there's no alarm or immobiliser, in which case a mobile auto locksmith can probably cut a key on site

But that's all irrelevant now ::) :D

Good news :y
