We have been watching this with great interest over the last few years.

This website(in English) explains quite a bit. One is the reason for creating the second longest viaduct in Spain rather than a simple embankment. At the end there are some short videos (in Spanish only) that show some of the construction work. I think it is impressive. Don't watch /read if you are going to get aggravated because Eu money was used towards it.

After China Spain has the most high speed train track I believe.

I am looking forward to getting discount as an old git on train tickets.!

Nothing to get het up about, it's only 550 million euros, and I assume that the EU will be paying a similar amount towards HS2 when they start building it.

Oh look there's a pig flying by my window!     

Joking apart though, that viaduct is a very impressive piece of civil engineering!

To be onset, I wouldn't want a thirsty 3.2 around here, be forever, filling it up, really need either a 2.0L turbo with a moosive intercooler, or a thumping modern V8.
