My daughter and SIL are there, (they go to all England games), and she texted me and said that it was the worst violence they had ever seen. They went to South Africa and Brazil world cups and Ukraine euros with no problems. The trouble mostly came from local "ultras" and organized Russian gangs. Thankfully they missed the worst and are now back at their campsite base far away from (in her words) shitty Marseilles. Much to SWMBO,s relief. I also heard that N Ireland fans were also attacked. Another nail in the coffin for free movement?

I too know a few lads out there at the moment.
From what I was told last night, a lot of it is also kicking off in the back streets too which isn't getting reported by the mainstream media.
Also, the French police are turning there backs on a lot of it unless they are tooled up with riot gear and have backup which if i'm honest, I don't blame them in the slightest

Just tell your family to avoid wearing any colours and keep there heads down and there mouths shut because we have another 10 days of this group before hopefully, the Russians get kicked out and some of these scum opps off back to mother Russia because the French, short of sticking the army on the streets are pretty powerless to control this and will happily give ANYBODY a slap with a stick when they are within swinging range

When someone decided to mass-import labour (be it just after WW2, or whenever, the decision was made) the perfect opportunity, after seeing the vile, hatred-filled segregating culture that is United states of Amuricur, we could have picked and chosen.

I know the above can/will get called fascism, but someone surely should have realised that a school where 90% don't speak English, or areas of cities where a white man will get assaulted for the colour of his skin isn't right.

I don't want to see an entire townscape tuned into a district of Pakistan any more than I want to see a quaint Spanish coastal fishing port turned into a giant Man U Sports bar, retired pot-bellied red-faced Man U fans shouting at locals for not speaking English. I respect cultures, and think culture should be preserved. Enriched -yes, supplanted -no. I want to/happy to see lots of immigration - but immigration of either
-people who want to work, and bring in new ideas, etc with skills we require
-genuine refugees, who literally need help and no-where else to go

You can blame the mill owners for the imported societies, they were looking for cheap labour not doctors, nurses or joiners, and they don`t have to live with the problems they created as they`re all probably dead.

That was in the days of almost full employment, a booming growing economy and migrants mainly from the old commonwealth who integrated relatively quickly. Many of the recent ones do too of course, but a sizeable ? minority cause problems.
The issue is though that the recent wave of migration was more people in the shortest space of time that the country has ever seen in its history. Hence everything is overfull, overstretched, and likely future numbers are simply unsustainable.

   Whenever I get in a debate with a pro-immigration doo-gooder. (and I still argue I am in the pro immigration camp, just immigration in a controlled, orderly fashion) I ask them this -

name me one example where a mass-migration of a people into another land has had a peaceful and positive resolution or effect. Addendum - positive for the indigenous people, of course.
