last week I drove up to catterick sunday market only to find it wasn't on . this week I looked on the net to ascertain if it was still on but couldn,t  find anything, tho did find a fathers day bus trip for today that was doing the yorks dales, lunch & stopping at catterick race course sunday market. so naturally assumed it was on. it wasn,t. does any body in the Scotch Corner , Richmond or even Middlesboro areas know if it now finished.  I cut across to Teesside & maybe Stemo knows the Park Hotel at Redcar , had a decent Sunday lunch there.  then took the coast road down to Whitby. from there back to York. probably a 300mile + journey with all the zigzagging I did. good thing ,issue free

I would think due to the major roadworks on the A1 and the consent closure's  O and the weather lately, might be postponed.

  I have been up there quite a few times in the past, but I never knew of the Parks existence till yesterday. we arrived about 12.30 & the young lady whom took our order informed me that if I wanted a dining room table the earliest we could get a table would be 3.45 - 4.00pm but we could order & eat in the bar area, ( which is quite nice anyway ). I believe the dining room seats 80+ & it was quite full. so your friends uncle is doing well, me thinks.
