Gearbox Problem

Hi, I have opel omega Mv6 1995 i have problem with gearbox (D) not work just 1 , 2 , 3

First point of action with most autobox issues is to check fluid for condition and level.

If history is unknown best advise is to drop both sumps and either clean filter or replace with new.Then refill gearbox with new ATF DexIII ensuring level is checked with engine running and fluid up to temperature.

Beware though it is a messy job  >:(

I would check the selector switch on the gearbox while you're under there.

Have a read of this Auto Gearbox Selector Switch Cleaning in the Maintenance Guides
