Ccrt 700 blaupunkt cd changer won't eject
« on: 26 June 2016, 17:07:59 »

Hi all, I'm having trouble with my blaupunkt cd changer, it was all working months ago then the head unit wouldn't except it so tried to reset the link but no luck.

Now today I had a play and it's working again but now doesn't eject the cd's, the button lights up but does nothing, I've unplugged it, disconnected the battery and made no difference. So I guess it's duff?

So if I have to replace it, can I fit a different cd changer, I'd like to use a 12 disc changer and maybe even one that supports MP3 assuming this would work? My only other option I can think of is a yatour system if anyone has tried before?

Thanks pete

CCRT700 requires a specific model of the CDC2 auto-changer.

Does that mean it can't be replaced?

You can only replace it with an identical model CDC2 changer - but be careful, as there are several variations that are not even cross compatible with themselves.

On the side of your changer is a 10 digit number starting with a  7

7   ? ? ?   ? ? ?   ? ? ?

Your replacement changer MUST have the same 10 digit number for it to function correctly

Ahhh crap, why is nothing easy. Guess I'll take it apart!

I did unplug it, remove from the holder and tested out of it cradle and it started working, so slapped it back in and seems ok for now. Although it randomly asks for the code even when I haven't unplugged it.

I know I'm adding to an old post but,
Re: the magazine not ejecting - I just experienced the same thing, but remembered I recently deactivated the cd changer security code (as it was prompting me to enter the code at every switch on.).
After reactivating the code the changer allowed me to eject the magazine.
Success.

(Same radio, ccrt700, and same changer, Blaupunkt).

My NCDCXXXX  magazine wont eject either, but from memory it needs to be pulled out and dismantled to cure that ? :-\

Old cars are never simple are they? Just when I thought I had solved something.....
I changed the discs and loaded the magazine into the changer and the message displayed says No Magazine.
And it won't eject at all.

Insert swear word here.

This wasn't meant to be a saga. However I believe I fixed it.
I unplugged the changer and took it to the kitchen table, removed the top and found how to 'pop' the magazine off its latch, then the eject spring pushed it out.
With the top still off I went back and plugged it in to the car. At this point I got to see the internals rising up in stages looking for discs (without the magazine).
Actually, whilst writing this I've realised what must have happened - the mechanism went out of synch, the removal of power and then later reconnecting must have reset the process.
Anyway I pushed the magazine in and it checked each slot for discs and loaded disc one.

Problem gone away.
I refitted the top and fully refitted the changer and it's still good.

Unless I put another saga below......,......,.......,
