Webby, sleep easy mate. It won't happen.

As well as having to adopt the Euro, take Schengen, pay for relocation of Trident and the staffing and rebuilding of Hadrians wall, have a read of this.

Why does wee jimmy fish face want to escape a democracy and join a dictatorship were you can't remove your rulers by vote ?

Does she really think that the EU would give a shit about her small country with its very small population, very few usable resources and a little oil which is not far off worthless in todays world ?

But the scenery is nice though   :y :y

Were all better together in the union imho but please stop the friggin whinging  ;)

I'm a jock descendent myself but even though I love the inter side piss taking / banter, I honestly don't see how a independent Scotland would survive out on its own  :-\

Like I said in a thread a few days / weeks ago, all families have bitch fights but this nationalistic crap is getting on my tits  :(
The pure hatred it is whipping up is sickening imo  :(

Anyway, there is more people, more resources, more skills, more business in Yorkshire so we want independence too from you southerners  :P :P :-* :-* ;D ;D

What I don't understand is why Westminster politicians seem scared of the SNP crowd.  :-\  The Scottish Secretary said on TV at the weekend  that there may be grounds for a 2nd Indy referendum.  Talk about pouring petrol on the flames.....  ::)

It's the tail wagging the bloody dog!!  >:(

According to the Weiss rating report on Banks today (they are like Moody's, S&P but with a much better track record) there are 6 major banks in Europe on the brink. One in Belgium, two in Italy and tree in Spain. This is the major reason bank shares are dropping like a stone at the moment as banks are linked to each other with loans etc.

The EU has been an economic disaster area since 2008 and with #Brexit they cannot afford a trade war as the EU is actually the weaker on this front. Our exit might prove to be timely as I think the first banking crisis will be in Italy and with sovereign debts at 132% of GDP they are not in a position to handle two major bale outs. Contagion from this may then spread to Spain and further afield. The problem with EU banks they have been the worst of all in writing off bad debts, rebuilding capital buffers and reforming. With a global trade showdown and coming mild recession where we are at the end of a economic cycle things are not looking good if you already have bank problems.

Cameron was in a hurry to have the referendum for a reason, we maybe about to find out why.
