Thanks for the info lads
Another question for that Taxi Al bloke if anybody knows how to get hold of him
Coming back in the morning, am I better off coming off the A23 at Handcross and using the B roads back to the digs ?
What's the A275 like ?
Worth it ?
There is no J10 Nbound exit, so you'll have to come off at Handcross. The B2036 and necessary other roads on that route are all decent fast country roads, and you'll only be on them for a few miles.
The A275 is a meandering way of finding a nice country pub for a pie and a pint on the way home. Not what you are going to want!
What you really need to do is have a quiet word with whoever is booking your hotels. Introduce them to a map while you're at it.
Its a young girl with a telephone, a computer and a Google maps

The office has a list of hotels graded 1 to 3 (discounts / set prices that the firm get)
Protocol is, ring around the cheapest list first and find one that Google maps says is within 1 travelling hours distance and go from there

If they cant find one with breakfast, you get £3.50 for it as long as you send a receipt in and the tossers don't loose it

In other words, they are a bunch of oppswits and haven't got a clue

Job wise, you have to accept the job, the accommodation details come much later.
If you pull off a job without what they call a good reason, you get billed for with me been the driver, everybody's rooms and the hire car fees

JOYS OF ZERO HOUR WORK EH

Right, off darn sarf ................. southerners beware of a grey 65 plate Picasso been driven rather erratically by a well pissed off northerner

Thanks Lads and see yeh next week
