So all that 'remains' is for a 'remainer' to sort Brexit. ::)

Should be interesting.

Perhaps .. but she says she ain't going back on the decision ...

"Conservative leadership candidate Theresa May says many people feel "frustration... about the loss of control over their day-to-day lives".

These are people who made sacrifices during the financial crisis, she argues, who face rising bills, a lack of affordable housing and job insecurity.

Mrs May also says there is a gap between "a wealthy London and the rest of the country".

She says the vote to leave the EU was "also a vote for serious change" and adds:

There will be no attempts to remain inside the EU... no attempts to rejoin it by the back door, no second referendum."

I believe that Theresa will do her best for the country. :y

However, I feel sure  there will be a queue of 'Brexiteers' who feel that her heart isn't in it. :-\

Division in the Tory party?.......surely not. ::) ::) ;)

The 'Establishment' had their knives out for Leadsom from the moment she emerged as a serious contender after Boris pulled out and conducted a nasty smear operation to discredit her.  ::)

So it looks like we have Cruella De Vil for the next 4 years as PM and probably longer, as Labour are a bigger shambles than the Tories!  :o

She failed to mention though, if she intends to remain a member of the single market or not.  ;)
I don't trust her, although she has played quite a clever game over the last couple of months.

Call me a conspiracy theorist if you like, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if an 'event' happens that leads the Government to overrule the referendum result in the 'national interest'.  :-X

I'm absolutely sure that's what will happen - whether or not that's likely to trigger a complete implosion in the (current) Tory party.

Despite how I voted I don't think they will be able to ignore the continuously falling exchange rate, share prices etc and not do something to protect the interests of the corporate world (which, in reality, tends to be our interests too as they pay our wages in one way shape or form), even if it means career suicide.

Ho hum.

Talk of parliament taking a vote. ::) ::)

After all, they are the elected representatives of the people. :)

No, they're just playing their favourite game of let's have a new leader. After all, it's way more fun than trying to come with a plan of achieving their promises, let alone actually carrying it out.
