What a difference good bearings make!
« on: 25 July 2008, 15:42:41 »

Just took the car out now for a spin as replaced the rear bearings and brakes (shoes, discs, pads, handbrake cable)...  so different now!

The car actually feels smoother on the road, alot of noise has gone, and it feels more stable in a straight line (it was feeling quite skittish at the rear when driving before doing them!)

And the handbrake actually works now too  ;D  since buying the car, its never really been of any use, and when it was MOT'd last October, it only just scraped through on the handbrake efficiency!

Only issue is the pedal still feels a tad spongy even after bleeding all the fluid through... so not sure what to check now for that  :-/

Good times!
