Rare sighting
« on: 05 August 2016, 19:44:58 »

This evening on the way home I actually saw the fabled BMW with working indicators :D Approaching roundabout driver indicated right and moved towards centre of road, however he then redeemed himself at the last minute by turning left :o ;D

Mine work. :y  I meticulously use them to try to restore the faith but I can see it's a fruitless challenge.  ;D

Oh they most definitely do as mine is new.  :y  It's whether the operative uses them that is optional.  ;)
Very simple to understand really, if the right hand indicator is flashing it means we are going straight to our rightful place in lane three and if the left hand indicator is flashing it means we are making a last minute attempt for the slip road with less than ten metres to go. If both indicators are flashing it means we have braked really hard and the hazards have come on by default as a warning to the bmw behind that we are racing. All very straightforward really.   ;) ;D

If parking were allowed on my side of road then we'd have to park part on/part off the pavement too.Parking here restricted to one side of road only, with double yellow lines on my side of road, which as is typical of councils etc is where us coffin dodgers live in our bungalows, whilst the other side of road has semi detached houses with their own drives/garages-but some of them insist on parking on the road instead of their drives :-\

Take a trip to where I live . . .

No vehicles have indicators, all drivers are colour blind at traffic lights, and double yellow lines are seen as double black lines  :o

BUT, if you hear a car horn hooting frantically, it's not someone being agressive or arsey, it's someone tooting a mate to say hello  :y

Or maybe, hey I jumped the lights without indicating and then stopped suddenly on double yellow lines, and got out to go to the chippy !
