quick oil change

Want to do a quick oil change over the pit.

Ive forgotten, what size is the plastic hex nut and the torx sump pug size?

Torx is T45 IIRC

Your probably right, metal and not plasic cap (most are plastic these days)

will go with a 24mm socket and a couple or torx for the sump.

Pretty much guaranteed to crack the cap/housing if over tightened at last change :-X

Few weeks ago i started to tighten up with the 3/8 ratchet ..But felt it was wrong and got the big socket on it in the end....Glad i did now  :P

24mm socket for the cap. t45 for the sump.

Not if you do it up to 15n/m yourself.

I use a 24mm flexihead ratchet spanner. Makes access a lot easier and quicker.
