PM on way......
Received, and I'm guessing you're at work - that looks like corporate PC to me.  I suspect you're using proxies, so I need a different test for you....
It is & I am  :(

Response from www.dnsstuff.com for Reverse DNS on www.omegaowners.com:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
www.omegaowners.com is not an IP address, so I am using 217.155.56.220 (the A record for www.omegaowners.com).

Location: United Kingdom [City: London, England]

Preparation:
The  reverse DNS entry for an IP is found by reversing the IP, adding it to "in-addr.arpa", and looking up the PTR record.
So, the reverse DNS entry for 217.155.56.220 is found by looking up the PTR record for
 220.56.155.217.in-addr.arpa.
All DNS requests start by asking the root servers, and they let us know what to do next.
See How Reverse DNS Lookups Work for more information.

How I am searching:
Asking d.root-servers.net for 220.56.155.217.in-addr.arpa PTR record:
d.root-servers.net says to go to ns-ext.isc.org. (zone: 217.in-addr.arpa.)
Asking ns-ext.isc.org. for 220.56.155.217.in-addr.arpa PTR record:
       ns-ext.isc.org [204.152.184.64] says to go to ns1.zen.co.uk. (zone: 155.217.in-addr.arpa.)
Asking ns1.zen.co.uk. for 220.56.155.217.in-addr.arpa PTR record:  Reports slcs-rh4-2.lettronics.com. [from 212.23.3.1]

Answer:
217.155.56.220 PTR record: slcs-rh4-2.lettronics.com. [TTL 86400s] [A=217.155.56.220]

Yes, thats correct response, but there is a possibility that some caching DNS servers used by ISPs may have cached the wrong settings, hence asking everyone.  Hopefully shouldn't be too much of a problem as we were runnning quite a long TTL, so hopefully most DNS caches didn't even see the HU changes.

My biggest concerns is corporate proxies, as they, for some reason, seem to ignore DNS TTL values...
