Air Conditioning Fairure
« on: 27 July 2008, 12:27:18 »

The air conditioning on my 1999 Omega 2.5TDi estate suddenly stopped working. Are there any common reasons for this?

Around the same time the front passenger area of the car was flooded. The water drain holes near the pollen filter were clogged up with leaves and some heavy rain left a lot of water in the car. I'm not sure if that had something to do with it. Are there any electrical components near there that could cause this?

Any comments appreciated. Thanks.

Only thing that can get damaged by water in that area is the blower fan/speed controller.......so if thats still working you've been lucky.

More than likely its lost its gas.......if the blower still works ok....id recommend taking it to an aircon specialist.......for a leak test and fix  :y
