Just had the back end of the miggy up in the air, again.  My broken spring and HID dramas have now combined into a royal PITA.  It's not the end of the world, but it is aggravating.

Broke a rear spring recently. Replaced it with a new one. Couldn't be bothered to do the other side on the drive since it wasn't broken yet and therefore difficult to remove (easier to put in new ones). Took it to a shop and they replaced the other spring for me and checked the auto box fluid (still full!).  :y

Now I have an HID warning AGAIN.  After how long looking for a replacement leveling motor!?!  That didn't last long.  >:(  Looked at the sensor (on the opposite rear arm to the spring they replaced) and it all looks fine to me.  They must have pulled on a wire, or the sensor got damaged?  Don't have Tech2, or more importantly a spare sensor to try.  

Probably have to wait a while now, was getting it ready for summer Hols travels.  Frustratingly now I'll be dazzling everyone, and they'll be flashing me.  >:( >:(  I really did try.  ::) :'(

No you won't if it's a sensor fault, when the level sensors are at fault the lamps point down to their lowest setting.

Only if a levelling motor is seized will you have a problem.

Only if a levelling motor is seized will you have a problem.
Maybe it is something else and just a coincidence.  Need to swing by Brackley someday.  It isn't the same as with the seized motor, it takes longer for the error to come up.  Maybe the sensor in one of the motors?
