Fancy going to all that trouble.....and then giving it to DPD.

Sorry, in my experience DPD are absolutely brilliant. You can set your watch by their delivery times.

Seriously. I get an email saying "James or Fred or or whoever" will deliver between 13.32 and 14.32. I wait on the doorstep at 13.33 and the van pulls up. Every time  :y
Ive actually had a DPD Van sit outside my House for 30mins before delivering the Parcel within the allocated time slot.  :D

That is brilliant. The joys of living in a first world country.

Here in Spain the experience is just the opposite. You can see on tracking that goods arrive very quickly to our local delivery companies then it goes downhill. Just some of the excuses we get(despite each package having our correct Postal address and phone number on) are:

Incorrect address , sent back to vendor.
Only deliver to your area on Tuesdays and Fridays

We compromise and agree to meet the driver at a landmark in the local town 10 minutes away. Which rather defeats the point.

Amazon do Prime where for an annual payment of about £12, on their products you get next day delivery by 4p.m. Presumably they use drones because it won't be any courier company currently operating here. ;D

That's a technique developed by Parcelfarce's breakless, lazy, incompetent, unreliable, over-paid oxygen thieves

According to Trust Pilot Yodel received 1.5/5 from 329 reviews.

82% of which were 1 star. :-\

Puts me in mind me of what my headmaster used to write at the bottom my end of term report....."Must do better" :) ;)

I moan quite a bit about everything these couriers but, TBH, they have all improved over the last year or so. I have had deliveries from yodel, dpd, hermes and dhl with no problems.

Don't include parcelfarce in that, they are shite. Only this week received an item from eBay which was wrapped well enough to bounce off the wall, but the contents were still shattered.

I rate DPD too  :y

The drivers always leave the parcel where I ask them to... :y

Actually, DPD knocked on my door today, I wasn't expecting them to....as what I ordered, the supplier said it would get delivered by Royal Mail.....it was only a mobile sim card in a jiffy bag  ;D
