I don't know how many people actually wanted a Smart Roadster/Coupe; going by sales, not that many apparently, but I was one of them people, I woudn't mind one, one day. :)

Just don't would be my advice especially if it has the MHD engine with a design fault that throws off the poly belt that causes the engine to fry in about 10 mins if not spotted.

Biggest problem with them is that they're not water tight. Water will get in by the wiper motor & fry the SAM (main ECU) and they're £600 to replace. MB spent a fortune on warranty work tryingto keep water out of them before they pulled the plug on them. Mine is now mostly dry.
They're a brilliant car to drive on the twistys ...... but they're not fast, just feel it when you just turn into a corner at what would be silly mph in most other cars.

Always use OE parts on all our vehicles, may cost a little more but all receipts kept in a ring binder for each car looks impressive when selling, I think I like to see a good traceable service history  just a bit OCD on my part

How about a rather different list?

In the almost six years I've owned my car, I have replaced:

Front wishbones, struts, top mounts and bearings, droplinks, trackrods, steering idler and centre track rod.
Rear shocks and subframe mounts
Timing belt, waterpump, HBV, oil, oil/air/pollen/fuel filters, plugs, coil pack, crank sensor, plug leads, N/S radiator hose, all of the gaskets from the head gaskets up, entire exhaust including used 3.2 manifolds but excluding the O/S cat, trans fluid and filter, thermostat, oil fliter adapter, ABS ECU/valve block(the only  other used part on the car), battery, power steering hose, and A/C high pressure valve, all the exhaust studs bolts and nuts,
Rear brake discs/pads/handbrake shoes and cable, one rear wheel bearing.
Headlight adjusters
Trim clips for the rear quarter/bumper trim
All three wiper blades

Of those parts, the cranksensor, radiator hose, oil filter adapter and trim clips were bought from my local dealer; the Elite rear shocks are genuine GM(still in the boxes) bought off Ebay for £100; and I was given the A/C valve. Everything else is pattern, the plugs and coil pack are the only parts where I specified a brand: they're Bosch.

Haha, she's had one in the past, but not personally by me. It's on the wants list.

Nick, that's a good list  :y
