Garlic chives look a bit like spring onions- often with a red tinge.

Garlic butter? You must have had that on "garlic bread" at your local pizza restaurant?

Ahhh, right, so smear garlic butter on your bread and it becomes garlic bread. Riight.  :y  I didn't get it, anyway... and if I smell of garlic I'm definitely not getting any.  ;D

You learn something every day - I had honestly never heard of those..  :y

Love garlic, personally. Raw in olive oil, baked in the oven, on garlic bread, on just about anything.. ooh, olives stuffed with garlic too. Mmm.

As in Lidl at around £1 a jar. I can scoff down a jar at a time no problem.

But same here, where are garlic cornflakes ? C'mon Kellogs. Went to a food festival alst weekend, there was this French guy selling lovely puple garlic bunches  :y

However, a bit of a rant. Why are our shops so full of crap garlic from China ? Yes it's cheap, but not THAT cheap. I always make a point of NOT buying it, buy British, Spanish or French whenevr possible, it also lasts longer  :y Why do we fly garlic half way across the world ?

PS: Whooops bit of a thread hijack. Sorry  ::)
