Fresh MOT on the "new" CDX
« on: 01 October 2016, 18:41:31 »

Put the new CDX Estate in for MOT this morning  . . .

Thought I'd see what it failed on  first ;)

Result was a surprising Pass.   ;D ;D :y :y

List of advisories as follows :  both front tyres wearing on the inside edge,

both headlights cloudy, 1 exhaust rubber missing from rear box, anti roll bar bush has

slight play , 2 brake pipes have slight corosion .

Not bad considering the paltry amount I gave for the car.   :y :y :y

Thanks BG . . . but have loads of them here from a previous breaker & also from new pattern exhausts I've fitted but always used the original GM rubbers
nice thought though  . . .thanks :y

Yep  . .very pleased Ron . . .Thought it would need at least couple of things doing.

Only downside is that the "Low beam field vision" warning came on coming back from MOT

The small connecting rod has broken off at the wishbone end . Must have occured during the test as it was alright  . . .only checked them the other day :'( :'(

Yes . . can now set about tidying this one  up a bit  ;)

Interior , mainly door cards , lets it down a bit . but on the case to get them replaced ASAP.

No rust on arches or tailgate  . . .so may be a keeper this one ,

Only had Elites or MV6's in the past , so I'm surprised that it's not that much short of Elite spec really  :o

Just counting up  . . .this is my 9th omega  :o :o :o :o

Sad eh ?  ;D ;D ;D
