Caravan ins versus car ins....
« on: 05 October 2016, 16:41:04 »

After reading about hikes in car insurance.....I have made two claims on my caravan insurance this year, one for £500 for a new front window, and another for a shower tray repair which cost £622.
My insurance has gone up this year.....by £3.00 for the whole year.!!!!!! Yet overall cost for the caravan insurance is £198 per year, which is only a few pounds less than I pay on the cars !!!!!
What would my car insurance have gone up had I made those two claims on the Omega's :)

Well if your Fully Comp front window would be covered, normally free and guessing if you was to try and claim 622 quid for a shower tray repair in the back of an Omega I doubt they would swallow it tbh.

No shower trays are a bit big to swallow.  They might have to chew it over first!  ;D
