Well, there's that one at the top of the engine, that needs unclipping for almost anything on the NS of the engine, next tot he throttle body. But nothing from memory at the front... could well be missing, then.
There's no 'could well be' about it...

I have a feeling that the routing is different on V6 vs 4-cyl... had a google of some engine pics, but will have a look at my own engine tonight

Ta  :y

I'm not paying attention again. I'm always getting told off for that. Should have seen the V6.

I think this is the bracket for your V6.

It looks totally different to my 2.2 2003 pipes. These are mine https://www.flickr.com/photos/53447058@N05/14143361625/in/dateposted-public

Just for future reference, are there 2 different sorts on the 2.2's.

Thanks

Managed to get under the bonnet of a 2.6 at the weekend - now have a bracket (that seems to come off the PAS pump) which shall be fitted this eve. Also a pipe that runs along the NS inner wing, which was missing any form of 'bracket' on mine, I've now seen what it should have. I have cable-tied it out of the way for now, but will source the proper jobbie in due course.  :y

Found the problem... not the pulley.

As you can see, the stud / screw / bolt has rotated in the housing by some 90o, which meant the thread was off at an angle, causing excess strain on one half of the belt, causing it to fail prematurely. Cost of repair - free. (Got one off a mate's scrapper, plus a few other bits  :)) I can only assume this was by being over-tightened at some stage in its life. There was no signs of fresh, shiny alloy, so doesn't look like it was me, phew!  :D
