A cracking car, great fun to drive, but £16k ! What price nostalgia I suppose.

Although, if I had a spare 20 grand, my nostalgia fix would be met by this.

I guess the price reflects the work that's gone into it, with the new engine etc.  :-\  I love to take it for a spin though!  :y

First track day I ever attended had a very similar looking Mk1 on it, though that one had a RedTop in it.. cracking car - sounded fantastic, easily kept up with all but the very special metal there and the owner looked like he was having a riot in it.

I'd love one, but not at that price!

Perhaps not, as you can buy a new 2.0 ltr Zetec engine wrapped in new metal, electronics and modern comfort for a similar price.  ::) 

It still wouldn't be as fun to drive though!  ;)
