One problematic door
« on: 12 November 2016, 21:27:08 »

The passenger side door is being a pain. The door will not work with the central locking system and although the Windows work using the passenger side window control, I cannot control it from my drivers side control.

It seems like it's hooked up to power it not a controlling unit, if that's a thing? I dunno...

Was hoping someone here can help.

I have an omega 3L v6

I'd say you've two separate faults
The passenger door locking motor is goosed
and the driver's door switch is goosed for the passenger window.

does the window close via the fob? ie press & hold 'lock' and all windows (& roof if fitted) should close.

i was hoping it was a loose wire somewere haha

I just went and tested your question, i lowered the passenger and drivers side windows. Then held the keyfob lock button and only the drivers side went up :(

What does that mean?

What does that mean?

That's put a stick in my spoke  ??? Not sure, I expected it to be the passenger window switch within the driver's door  :-\

Check for broken wires between the door and the A pillar.

People often, mistakenly, refer to the locking motor as a solenoid. That's likely to be the lack of locking of the door

New door loom and go from there :y

Facelift and prefacelift looms are different , as are driver and passenger front looms, so be sure to get the correct one :y
