pointless gimmick if you ask me...

just adds the risk of people chopping your fingers off to get into ya laptop  ;D

Yeah loads of my stuff has fingerprint recognition - you press the on button with your finger and somehow it recognises your command and they just start working.

Magic or witchcraft, I just dont know.  :-?

Well anyway did'nt ask for it, just happened to be on the laptop :-/.......still use the passwords in anycase only prompts for fingerprint on certain things you try and do....................

Mine insists on upper and lower case for added security - but then it doesn't have fingerprinting built in  ::)

Just ordered 2 of these through work Dell XPS1530's, six and a half hour battery life, built in camera, microsoft professional............always better when your not paying :y ;D ;D
