British TV is now appalling, on Christmas or any other day. Bizarrely, most of what is worth watching these days comes from the U.S.
I think I could actually live without a TV now. The technology advances recently have been impressive, but the programming makes the advances pointless.

Nothing at all worth watching.  Not even the traditional xmas films (not necessarily xmas related, such as The Great Escape) that are worth having on whilst munching through all the leftovers, and breaking wind on the sofa.

I watched the Searchers yesterday for the umpteenth time.  Great film at any time of year. :y :y

'Love actually' a film about London based  middle class luvvies, was on both ITV and ITV4.

Still, at least it had a nice pair of tits in it.

Given that the biggest part of what's on tv these days is dross,you can't surely expect too much over Xmas? The "audience"are either too busy with everything else going off to bother or they're just a captive "audience"who have nowhere/nothing else to do.

Really not sad to be out of the country for the whole shooting march this year.. especially as it's 30 degrees and i am by the pool.  ;)
