Although it looks like we have finally resolved the TMobile issue, we still need to press ahead with the security enhancements in the coming weeks, which will mean users of old software and browsers will loose access. Sorry.
Yep, thanks for that one,.......       now just leave the bloody thing alone!  ;D :P :-*

Of the mainstream browsers, IE and Chrome definitely work on XP. All but the oldest versions of FF *may* work. Your mileage may vary.

We cannot carry on supporting unsupported software indefinitely, and Google are making sure that life will become a pain in the arse for everyone - but then they are what the claim not to be, evil ;)

I might be wrong on Chrome, conflicting info (and sod all directly from Google). But you'd be a bit soft in the head to run Chrome on any version of Windows, let alone broken ones like XP.

Old smartphones, including old Gooseberries, original iPhone, old Android and Win CE based Windows are also out of luck.

Generally, if you are running a currently supported OS and a currently supported browser, you should be OK

I keep reading the subject line as "Advance warning, outrage this weekend".

Must be the times we live in. ;)

Generally what happens when OOF'ers are forced off the internet and into face to face conversations with their nearest and dearest.  ;D

Or is that just me?!  :o

No, there's generally much more outrage online than when we meet up*. I blame the alcohol for that.

Chrome on Windows makes a sieve look solid.  And is the underlying OS (Windows XP) hasn't had its discovered flaws for 3 years now, its not entirely difficult for scrotebags to install nasty software on your machine.

I think it's safe to assume ronnyd is probably already part of a botnet, given the XP, Chrome, and inexperienced user trifecta (sorry Ronny!) ;)
