Do I need help?
« on: 05 February 2017, 12:08:40 »

I'm strangely drawn to the Cadillac CTS-V.

A nice economical and eco-friendly 6.2 litre supercharged V8. ::) putting out 640 BHP and 630 lb ft of twist.

I like the way that it looks so different to anything European.

Only seems to be available in LHD though.

Can't seem to find a price.

STMO once owned a Chevy. ::) I imagine the 'Caddy' would feel much the same on the road. :)

You'd look a right tit in that. Behave yourself.

You're right.

I'll buy something dull. What would you suggest?

You seem to have a preference for dreary cars that most people wouldn't be seen dead in. :) ;)

I rather like it. And 650bhp should be enough for it to move you along at an acceptable lick.

Sterring wheel on the wrong side is a bit of an issue though. All that power and no way to overtake anything without risking life and limb  :-\

Camaro would be my suggestion...

Convertible if you're feeling poncy. Coupé if you're not.

And for the price of the Cadillac, you could have one of each 8)

Certainly a major consideration. :-\ :-\

Personally, I think cars built in the 'British colonies' ::) should have the steering wheel on the correct side.

Al, They may still not be up with the best that Europe can offer, but 'Yank cars' have certainly improved over the years. :y

Can the chassis handle the power and can it corner?

Seeing as the running gear is VXR8, yes to both... ::)
