« on: 07 February 2017, 16:25:58 »

Hi all
I want to update the best Omega in the world to have headlamp washers, can i use existing pump for screen or is it a seperate pump for head lights.
I know i need to purchase headlamp jets and the connecting pipe work and maybe a new pump if needed, what about the electrical connector
Im really in the dark about this so any info about how to do this and how would be a really great help

Thanks

Your would need the correct tank, pump (its separate), pipes and actual washer jets.

Just a thought, but when the washers are original equipment, they only come on when the headlights are on. Would this still apply for the aftermarket fitting of them? I assume the idea is to save wasting screenwash fluid when you don't need to clean the headlamps?

Yes still the same. :y I retrofitted a set to my last omega, but details of the installation are fuzzy. I seem to remember needing advice from RobG.

Yes the head light washers are very high pressure and will use a lot of fluid if always on.
