Check for corrosion underneath! Those Aussie cars are never well rustproofed.

Clean base model cars range from £6-8k, VXRs from £7.5-14k depending on mileage/condition/upgrades.

Paying £4k for a Copart special which runs will see a tidy profit in parts... Drivetrain would break even alone

A cheap Monaro is a distant memory, and high mileage doesn't seem to matter as long as the car has been maintained properly. They will never be Omega money

Looked at buying one before I got the Merc I only wanted to spend  around 8K, couldn't find a decent one for that money at the time.

This one is said to be in excellent condition. Price is £6.5k plus I have to go to Norn Irn and bring it back here.
Doesn't really sound like a nice little earner. Probably a good price though if I wanted it as a keeper.
