Got a 2013 Dispatch in for a clutch tomorrow. Auto data reckons 9 hours or so. I don't remember fitting a clutch on one of these but I think someone else did one I my e a rly days...... is this the mofo where the front end as well as the subframe has to be removed?

Rough with the smooth I guess

I've got no problem doing all of that. But these extra long jobs I do find mind numbing as the hours roll past

My old works Pug van had a slippy clutch, it had under 100 k miles & I thought WTF

after they took it all to bits, turned out the crankshaft oil seal failed  I did swear

It's actually a Citroen/Peugeot that could come with a Fiat badge.
And typically of bigger vans its pretty shite to work on.

I didn't have to do it 

......and when 3 of the subframe bolts were spinning due to their captive nuts no longer being captive (inside the chassis no less with no access to them) I'm kinda glad I didn't

I forget what bolt was like that on the MR2 .. no, I don't; steering rack mount .. and had the same thing happen on a friends car.  Had to cut the crossmember open to get to the nut in the end, what a palava.

I literally had it happen to me last week on one of those stupid MGs. The rover 25 looking one.
I was licking my chops to do the lower arm as it looked so easy. Which I was exactly right....up until the through bolt just started spinning. No choice other than to cut an opening, get on the nut and undo it. Fortunately for me the subframe metal was so thick I could put shed loads of heat in to the weld. Still a royal pita
