2.2 passed it's MOT with the rusted sills it had, just my choice to stop driving it considering the large structure issue.

Given LD's 03 Plate estate was showing signs as well, suspect my 3.2 will be not far behind.
LD's was not that pretty underneath 5 or 6 years ago when we were changing a radiator on it.  I've seen your 3.2 naked, with no bumpers and sill covers on, and it was near bloody perfect.  That was less than 6 years ago :).  It'd have to be pretty extreme for it to be serious now. If you are concerned, check and scrap it now. Damn sight easier than cutting bits out and welding new in :)
