Pump would, give up, then injectors' block, O dpf would be knackered.

According to OOF wisdom that's what happens every 1000 miles regardless of what you run a modern diesel on ;)

But it is correct for a modern diesel if running on vegetable oil as is considering the diesel magic trick on a common rail setup..

I chuck 250ml of 2 stroke in per tankful.

Definately makes it quieter / smoother and possibly a little more mpg too,

We do similar to my lads Corsa cdti but every second tankful

That and smellier.  :y ;D
Its currently running on a very sweet smelling Tandoori flavoured oil. Makes people in cars behind me hungry apparently;D

 ;D

I used to have a customer who owned a kebab shop who was quite happy to let me take the waste oil.
Used to stick it on the roof of the shed in the sun for a month until the oil and fat had separated then it went into the tank of the panzer (my old 2.5 td estate)

I was sat at some traffic lights one day when a couple of traffic coppers pulled up along side of me, tapped on the window and asked for fish and chips twice before driving off laughing  ::)
Got to admit, I shit myself because it was sign written up at the time  8)
VAT avoidance and all that  ;D

Nothing to worry about. Its perfectly legal, as long as you don't use more than 2500 L per year.  ;)
