Then when you have a price keep ringing different companies and play them at thier own game for discount.

Mine was brought down from £790 to £340 over a few phone calls and the only place I rang was Admiral.(Different agent each time)

According to your reckoning a 54 plate would be a 1954 car.....

So obviously a 45 plate means 2004...    And corsas were about then

Bollix  2004 was 04 and 54. Are you sure you're a taxi driver?  A 45 plate will be 2045, and I don't think he meant that.
