Noticeably more creep

My 2.2 auto has noticeably higher creep power than my 2.6, in both directions. What could explain this - is it a fault? It could be, because the 2.2 does have a gearbox fault.
NB I have been advised here to change the fluid and filter, but when asking about this at specialists they have said its not the fluid, or it won't help. The car drives ok.

Same box as fitted to 2.6, due to lower power in the 4 pots, it's probably just not as worn.  :)

V6 idles lower. Lower rpm = less torque = less creep ;)

Plus the V6 will have taller gearing at the diff, so less torque at idle transferred to the wheels.

Torque converter will have different characteristics too.

If the idle speed isn't excessively high, I wouldn't worry.

As said by Dr G and KW, combo of idle speed and gearing.  All v6's have minimal creep.
