Do we want pictures in quotes

Since the last software drop, any quoting of a previous post that had images in would result in the images being redisplayed in the quote.

Is that what we want?

I don't see any reason to have pictures in quotes. Seen them once...

Adds nothing to the thread and goodness-knows what it must do to the OOF`ers whom browse via mobile-devices or dial-up connection.

as does repetetive quoting, have seen some threads where posts have over 10 quotes.  :( :(

Mobile devices should be caching similar to desktop browsers, so shouldn't affect bandwidth much.  As a mobile surfer myself, its a PITA to keep scrolling through images though.

Before the upgrade, quotes included links, not pictures.

Now, the url's are resolved, taking up A LOT of screen space, and makes much more scolling
