So after nearly 11 years I waved bye bye to my Omega this morning when 2 Polish blokes eventually turned up after buying it on ebay last week. 

Not a bad result really, the local scrappy had offered me £50 and I got £160.  I was a bit shocked at the final ebay fee though, £30!  Still my fault for not checking. 

So thanks to everyone here for all the great help and advice I've received over the years which has kept the old girl on the road a lot longer than otherwise would have been the case!

In case of some trouble with rust (Omegas main problem) I take out my welder. Nothing is impossible

This is the the end of left rear skill after removing all rust. Repair sheet is welded in, but I could not do the finnish, because it was raining the complete weekend. More in a few days...
