Altho since the price of oil going up.....(these where 2quid cheaper then) still seems a good deal to me.......unless anyone else can find cheaper...

.. while we're on the subject, does anyone know how to get hold of refillable camping Gaz bottles cheep? Idly thought about getting an extra 907 cylinder at the weekend so I don't have to keep borrowing my parents one - until I discovered they are 45 quid.

Saw a few at the local council tip but they're a bit eagle eyed there.

My local color shop is summat silly like £8 for 4...

And i know i paid £2.50 last year for a single one coz i was worried i would run out.......in a local camping shop in Bridport...

Ive not looked at Swindon Camping shops........if your were going to Newent i would ask you to get me some......Tis excellent price that £5 for 4....Thats the price argos were selling at a few months ago for pack of 12......£1.25 each can.

i have alot of gas cannisters the big WD 40 can sized things! have about 10 of em will bring em with me as i have upgraded to a Petrol stove cant beat the taste of optimax on your bacon

Doesn't stop you selling them on Ebay though. They have value and posession is 9/10ths. I guess Calor aren't clued up or they'd be chasing them off Ebay.

Will have to keep an eye out, and try the tenner. I suspect they are supposed to return them to Camping Gaz when they appear at the tip, but a tenner could avert their gaze for long enough, I'm sure.
