She's rightly out of the picture, failing to be across your brief is unforgivable, particularly when you KNOW the press will be hungry for any tiny mistake to pounce on. Don't give em (several) big fu€kups to use.

Odd in a way, because by all accounts she's a very intelligent individual who has done a lot for her constituents and a number of minority groups.

She's probably great as your local MP, but Home Secretary is a big leap upwards from there.

Yup, and a role to which she is wholly unsuited, tbh any other party would have sidelined her after the first clusterfu€k. But labour were getting eviscerated in the mainstream media as it was so probably calculated The fallout would have been unacceptable.

If it is a hung parliament, I'm sure Diane will be up and about in the morning with a spring in her step!  ::)

I was going to go with the phrase "daily vivisection" but though it was a bit OTT. Problem with going with evisceration, I'm now in danger of repeating myself in describing the UKIP result tonight  :D

If you live and eat as advised then Type 2 diabetes is easily controlled, if you ignore it and carry on as normal it can catch up with you in lots of nasty ways, including having to switch from tablets to insulin, heart and circulation problems, including lower limb amputation, kidney failure and blindness to name but a few. :o :o :o

To be fair to her, I doubt I could live as advised while campaigning in a general election and holding down a senior cabinet position.
