water pipe
« on: 07 June 2017, 14:02:06 »

hi chaps,

please excuse my ignorance, but what is the part called that the pipes from the rocker cover go to and the return pipe from the header tank on a 2.2.

and by any chance does any one have the vx part no for the return pipe to the header tank . it has turned like soft putty and is leaking steam.

my car is falling apart lol  :'('

by any chance also could this be linked to my misfire problem as in previous post if it was taking in air just a thought.  :y

If it's a thin pipe it may be the rocker cover breather, they turn to Playdo for fun, a pic might help Jacko

Agreed  :y

Would certainly not help the misfiring, but also an indication of the state of the breathers as a whole... have a read of the guide. Includes various relevant part numbers too :y
