Another Vehicle vs pedestrians
« on: 19 June 2017, 02:21:32 »

As per the title... Finsbury Park this time, Seven Sisters Road. Near the Mosque. I sincerely hope this isn't some stupid, twisted bigot "getting revenge" >:(

Time will tell as someone was arrested at the scene. Poor people... Hope the emergency services succeed in keeping the casualty list small.

I don't know where we are heading with all this, but it's nowhere good. And, worse, I can't see any way it can be stopped, short of Marshall law.

Sadly I fear you may have hit the nail on the head with this, the Beeb are reporting that those affected were worshippers at the nearby mosque  :'(

It's terrorism, pure and simple. Give the perpetrator(s) the death sentence and be done with it.  >:(

My thoughts are with the poor, peaceful community attacked at the end of prayers.

The Imam had to protect him from the crowd. Claims he said "I've done my bit" >:( >:(

Sounds like a builder type with mental health problems from some of the eye witness accounts, not going to do relations any good though is it

Mental health problems or just a terrorist? ???

Would one of the London Bridge attackers be given the benefit of the doubt and a mental health assessment? :-\ ???

Don't get me wrong, I don't know the answers but it does portray dual standards :-X ::)

One of the eyewitnesses said something similar. He said he didn't want to hear excuses like mental health problems and that it was a terrorist attack pure and simple.Another eyewitness[or maybe the same one]"Why did the the police take an hour to respond and the ambulance 45mins?"Yet another "Thankfully the police/ambulance got there very quickly"and another "I followed someone out of the mosque to find out what was happening and instantly began videoing the scene for snapchat" :( A muslim[spokesman type I assume]on the sofa in the studio kept lumping the Grenfell tower fire in with this attack and the previous terrorist attacks ???

I guess the Beeb haven't used the phrase "suspected white/Christian extremist" yet then.  ::)

No, and they should. It is, after all, what he is. It's no different to the scum who have been attacking previously.

My telly is staying off today until the tennis starts this afternoon. Sick of hearing all the 'experts' pontificating about the why's and wherefore's.
