If you could turn back the clock 12 months, would you?
I would.

Might seem like a pointless, simplistic question, but I'd be interested to see if anyone is actually happy with the way things turned out.

I replied no, simply because I'm still happy with the way I voted, and going back 12 months would mean that I've got 4 days until the disappointment starts all over again  ;D

Like with counter factual history, it is a pointless discussion issue. ;)

And does that tell you anything we do not already know and see; confusion, dissatisfaction and a wish for strong political leaders to step out of the fog. :D :D ;)

No.

Although come to think of it, this time last year I was in Hong Kong, getting merry and watching England smash the Aussies 3-0 on their tour.

So perhaps I was a little hasty.

Wait a year or so and we will be back where we were twelve months ago. i.e.

Back in the EU we never left

(but having lost the opt outs we fought so hard for)

Subservient cash cow for the great E£U machine

Business will be ever more globalised

Rich getting richer and poor getting poorer

NHS will be hanging on a smaller thread

Jeremy Corbyn will be PM and be trying to calm the left wing elements of his party

We're leaving the EU. Regardless of opinion and wishful thinking, Article 50 has been triggered. The only guarantee is that we will be out of the EU by 2019.

Subsequently rejoining would see us nailed to wall by our veg and would be worse than ANY other deal including no deal.

Absolutely right! :D :D :y

The trouble is so many people now have so many differing view points. Brexit, the situation with the Labour Party, and the now discredited T. May, who yes I voted for, has shown that we are really divided in a highly mixed way.  I cannot remember such division, and as I said, confusion in my life before. Once it was simply you were either Labour or Conservative, and you voted for their policies, left or right. Now....??!! ::) ::) ::) ::) ;)
