cancer diagnosis
« on: 11 July 2017, 20:20:38 »

my daughter was at the hospital today to get results of biopsies she had regards the suspected breast cancer. not good news. bigger than initially thought she is to undergo surgery within the month. maybe even two ops before they proceed with radiotherapy or chemo. I'm worried sick.

As I said before, try to remain positive as the prognosis for breast cancer is now very good. All easier said than done though :-\

Regardless, really sorry to hear your news and fingers crossed for a positive outcome for you all

Oh dear, very sorry to hear that. :(

The one thing you should keep in mind is that now survival rates are better than ever, and hopefully she is one of those patients who have been caught early and so has an even better chance :y

Sorry to hear your news. My sister in law had similar and has been in the clear for ages now. As others have said medicine has made great advances. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome.
