Indeed! I used it for about 18months when living in London, total godsend.

ATM I will keep it up I think and crash at a friend's house in Bedford once per week in exchange for takeaway and beer :).

Car performed admirably, unfortunately I had to fill up on Friday before the journey back, but she still did 800 miles (with 40 more on the Dte) between fills, so I'm happy with that! According to Fuelly that's 48.2 mpg, which I reckon isn't bad for a fat old Swedish bird  ;D.

However I have discovered that FM signal for the stations I like is pretty lame on my normally journey :(. So I'm thinking a Dab to aux adapter will be in the works come payday (missed the cutoff by 4 days so it's 6 weeks sans payment).  :y

Call me Mr cynical but I imagine the trip computer is set up at the factory to be optimistic.

Lets call it a genuine 35 MPG from the arthritic old soot chucker. ;)

In this case not.

Fuelly is an app in which you record your odometer reading and the number of litres filled up with. So, give or take the inaccuracy of the odometer, the figure is 100% accurate.

The onboard trip computer seems reasonably accurate, it was showing 45ish but that was over the last 2 tanks and Fuelly showed 40.8 for the previous one. So possibly optimistic by 1-2mpg, but as I don't use it to calculate my mpg it's really only for interest.

As an aside I like the Fuelly app as it also allows me to record services: When, what mileage and what exactly was done. A great tool for the DIY'er with a short memory such as myself.  :y

Trust me, if it only delivered 35mpg I'd be looking for something else pretty bloody sharpish ;)

'Only 35 MPG'.... :o :o :o I should be so lucky.

The only time I achieve 35 MPG is in some Utopian dream.

In the  dream  Rachel Riley asks if I would like her to sit on my face or prefer to take her roughly from behind. :)

If Rachel Riley sat down at my table, you wouldn't have found me complaining about it on here I can assure you!
