What can you say.

We all may have damaged kidneys, livers or thyroid glands. If you have you cannot prove the eggs caused it cos you have thrown the shells away or the packaging of the product that was made with said eggs.

Thus you cannot bring a class action against anyone or the Dutch goverment.

All rather unbelievable even down to the Belgiums knowing about it a month ago and not saying anything. So much for EU standards protecting us all. Bring on those manky old but chlorine washed cheap chickens

Years ago when there was the salmonella scare over eggs and people were asking "Do you still eat eggs?" I always replied "Yes I am,if it can live through my cooking it deserves to live"

Can't stand eggs and I always wondered why people started eating them in the first place. I can only imagine 2 blokes sitting outside some sort of neolithic pub:

We get ours from one of Mrs TB's pals.  But she is not legally allowed to wash them before giving them to us, due to EU law.

I did actually look up said law, as I thought she was just being a lazy cow

It was estimated at the beginning of the week that 20,000 of these eggs had reached the uk. This has just been revised upwards to 700,000.

Always buy my eggs from Aldi as they are the cheapest. They have had to remove from shelves in Germany, but they have stated that all their eggs here come from UK farmers. They also seem to source more seasonal fruit and veg from the UK compared to other supermarkets.

When I'm at MIL's in Ukraine all of the eggs and chicken meat come from the corn fed chickens in the back yard. The eggs are bigger on average than shop bought ones in the UK and taste much better. The chicken meat is slightly tougher where they get more exercise than factory grown ones.

I find the whole thing quite alarming. Some of you will know we make a small amount of income from olive farming. It is highly regulated. You cannot spray weeds or your trees unless you are accredited ( been on an approved training course and had regular refreshers). Mostly you can only buy the liquids through the co-operative but elsewhere you have to produce your accreditation card. Then mystery folk regularly come and take soil and leaf samples to make sure you are abiding by the rules( The Boy's EU laws). So where is the testing of these eggs? the training and purchase of the chemical? I wonder if there is some corruption involved and blind eyes being turned?

So we (well you) are being poisoned to an unknown degree by people who will not be brought to account- most certainly not for any damage done to your or your family's body organs

When I was a lorryist, I used to go to a pork pie factory in Wiltshire to collect for one of the supermarkets.  A regular sight were trucks from Poland delivering eggs and I often wondered at the quality of these eggs and the conditions in which they were produced, given that they were obviously much cheaper than British eggs.

I can tell you all McDonalds eggs are British.

Basically unless it says British on the egg or the packaging, its from euroland.
